09.29.09 | Sexy| My Sister, Sarah, is an amazing hair stylist who specializes in women's hair and extensions here in Del Mar. She just opened her own salon called Hair Candy the other month and she is so excited! Her salon is located right on the main strip in Del Mar and has a great mid-century vibe with views of the beach and fabulous vintage pinups on the walls. She came to me about doing a photo shoot for her new salon and website and wanted to use the pinup vibe with a modern twist! Her friend, Holly, who also helped with the design of the studio was our amazing model. We had a lot of fun playing in my new studio and we even had some time to do a few more sexy boudoir photos for her too. |

09.23.09 | Talk| I received some exciting emails about my recent move to San Diego. Everyone can't wait to see pictures of the new photography studio, but some were hoping that I could share some pictures of my old studio in Newport Beach. So here it is, one last peek at my old studio in anticipation of the completion of the new one. |

new photography studio: sneak peek
09.18.09 | Talk| Yesterday I had an amazing shoot at my new studio in San Diego! What? New studio? San Diego? Yes, San Diego! This summer I moved my studio from Newport Beach to Downtown San Diego. It was a not an easy decision to make since I had a rockin' studio and super cool clients in the OC, but my boyfriend and his yummy new restaurant in San Diego beckoned me to come.
My new photography studio is in an amazing historic blue victorian house built in 1888 and it is just the coolest place to meet clients and have fabulous photo shoots! The architecture and light in the studio are so beautiful I don't think I am ever gonna leave! There were a few things that sold me on the studio, but I do have to say the cherry on the top was the vintage wallpaper that is in the entryway, stairwell, and hallway! Ooh-la-la! When you stop in for a client meeting or to say just hi make sure to come around sunset so you can grab a vintage soda pop, chill in the studio, and watch the skyline of downtown glow and change colors like you have never seen before! Check out the wonderful Holly on the staircase in the entry way in the studio. Ummm yeah she is hot, and the wall wallpaper is pretty awesome too! I will post more about her photo shoot later, and when all the details of my studio are in place I will post some photos of that as well. ***To all my Los Angeles and Orange County photography clients, don't worry, I will continue to give you all the love an attention you deserve, I am in the OC and LA areas at least once a week meeting clients or shooting! To all my new clients, we can meet at my new studio in San Diego or I can take the show on the road with some of my favorite albums and images, I'll meet you anywhere in Southern California for coffee or a martini!*** |
